ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Location: Clark/Cebu/Tarlac/Manila
Shift: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Arrangement: Remote, Full Time

About this role…
The Accounts Officer is a critical member of our finance team responsible for managing both the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
- Process all invoices and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Verify approval on all invoices and check requests.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Handle queries related to accounts payable and respond in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Maintain vendor files and set up new vendor accounts.
Accounts Receivable:
- Generate and send out invoices.
- Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments.
- Conduct account reconciliations as needed.
- Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and other irregularities.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries.
- Maintain customer accounts and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare accounts receivable reports and summaries.
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Officer, Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Knowledge of any accounting software
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
